Legoland Highlights

Here we are waiting to get in to the park!


*We found a great deal on tickets for Legoland. We had four free passes that were given to us, but did you know that Legoland offers special deals for home school families! So affordable to get into the park. Hooray for home school!

*First thing we did was purchase a minifigure for each of the boys. The boys have been talking about these special collections of minifigures for so long! When you purchase a minifigure, you don't know what you are getting. The bags are not marked so it is a surprise each time as to which character you will get. Legoland has a really fun trading program though. As you move about the park if you see an employee with a minifigure on his/ her nametag, you can trade any minifigure you have for the employee's minifigure. We made several trades yesterday.

*One of our favorite attractions was the Clutch Powers 4-D Movie Adventure.

*We rode lots of Lego rides.

*Boys did great! At one point Colton started to fuss because he wanted to be carried, but when Todd reminded him that he had promised to be a big boy he quickly dries the tears and trudged onward.

*Connor kept saying, "Isn't Legoland the greatest?" and Hunter marveled at the fact that we were actually at Legoland! He was so excited.

End of the day at Legoland. Everyone is all smiles...except Carter who never found the one minifigure that he really wanted.


Side note: This morning as we were eating breakfast at the hotel we prayed and Todd conluded by saying, "God we can't wait to see what You have in store for us today." Less than 10 minutes later a lady approached us and asked if we would be going to Disneyland before the 31st. When we said yes, she handed us these special Disney coupons that she had that gave us preferred seating for shows, preferred parade viewing and an opportunity to get in one hour early to Mickey's Toon Town. Now I don't write this to boast about how fortunate we are, but rather about the goodness of God. Thank you Lord for this small blessing that will make our Disney adventure extra fun.
