Decorating a Christmas Tree at Church

Today the boys and I had a fun assignment. With the help of our friends the Jenkins, we decorated a Christmas tree for our church, Woodland Hills Family Church. They had asked families or small groups to adopt a tree and decorate it. Then next weekend at a Jingle Jam family event, everyone will get a chance to vote on their favorite tree and the winners get $100 to give to the charity of their choice. Great idea, huh! Well, the Jenkins have three boys and with our four, we decided that it would be appropriate to do a boy themed tree. The title of our tree..."No Girls Allowed" It turned out so cute! We filled the tree with superheroes, Hot Wheels, Legos, Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers, etc. Hunter especially loved this project and he was super helpful making the sign for the tree and putting all the ornaments on.
