Catching up...

Well, it has been a bit of a break from blogging. Not intentionally, but here is what has been going on.

Allergies! Bronwyn, Hunter and Colton have all struggled with lots of allergies. And last week, I was really sick. Sweet Todd stayed home for three days to keep the boys and let me stay in bed.

Silver Dollar City opened for the 2011 season! We went to SDC on Saturday and has a great time checking out the new kids area and exploring the city. We love this theme park. Funny story! As we were driving out to SDC we passed a small grave yard which prompted Colton to say, "Well, there's where Mammy died." Mammy was Todd's grandmother. And no, she did not die in a cemetery near Silver Dollar City.

Todd built a bike rack. This has been on my wish list for a few months. I was so tired of the boys dropping their bikes and scooters all over the place. Now the bikes have a specific parking spot and they line up so nicely. Woo hoo!

Spring Break. This was right when I was sick so I was super thankful that I didn't have to be teaching the boys. We had planned to travel to Nashville to see my parents/ sisters, but had to cancel the trip because I felt so bad. Boo!

A stay at Big Cedar. We were able to spend three nights at our favorite get away spot, Big Cedar. The boys love to maximize the time we have at the resort. We swam, visited the hot tubs, played shuffleboard, built Lincoln Logs, went out in the paddle boats, cooked s'mores, rode bikes and scooters, played putt putt, etc.
