Lego Advent Calendar and the Titanic

What?!...these two things definitely don't go together, except for the fact that we experienced both of them today. Let's start with the Lego Advent calendar. Well, as it is December 3rd, we officially have three small Lego creations that the boys have constructed to be part of our made up Advent calendar. My thought was that they would all create items to be part of a Lego city/ or Christmas scene. It appears that we may have a wide variety of items. I'll just let them be creative!

On December 2nd, Carter created a lamppost (no picture of that). Then today Connor added a Nativity scene. This is Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus - from Legos. He even built a Manger and the star that led the Wise Men.

We also made a trip to the Titanic Museum in Branson today. I had heard that Titanic Museum would have live reindeer and Santa Claus on hand for kids to take pictures with. In fact, this is exactly what the advertisement said, "This free family-friendly holiday attraction will give parents and kids alike the chance to meet Santa, pet his reindeer and have their pictures taken with them."
Great! Well, upon arrival we did see the reindeer...and a sign that said: Reindeer Pictures - $10.00 Are you kidding me? No thanks, I will just take my own FREE pictures of the reindeer inside their cage. Nonetheless it was fun to take the boys.

We were also there when they brought out Carter and Molly - the mascots for Titanic. Here we have Hunter, Connor and Colton with the dogs. My Carter refused to be in the picture with the dog Carter.

News Bulletin: Another evening of wrestle mania is in full swing as I finish this post and Connor just came running out because he just knocked his tooth out. Yes, it was loose. Looks like the Tooth Fairy will need to make another appearance tonight.
