Big Cedar
Right after Easter we had the opportunity to spend a few days at Big Cedar. As always, this was a huge treat for our family. We really feel like we are on vacation when we stay at Big Cedar even though we are only about 20 minutes from home. We neglected our computers, email and phones (a little), but had precious time with our boys. Each day was a new adventure - swimming, visiting the stables, building Lincoln Logs, watching Phineas and Ferb, playing miniature golf, shuffleboard, and riding our bikes/ scooters. So very fun!

Boys in the cabin after our Easter Egg Hunt. I had filled the eggs with puzzle pieces so they all worked on the puzzle after finding the eggs.
Colton would escape from the cabin to go outside and ride his bike! He loved it. And yes, I know he needs a helmet. I'm working on that....
The boys took part in a kids' fishing competition while we were there. Here is Todd helping Carter get his pole ready. Connor was already working on reeling in the fish.
Connor showing off a worm.
Hunter and Connor waiting for the fish to bite.
Carter at the pond. Doesn't he look pale? And I think his hair kind of blends in with the reeds behind him. Hee hee!
Colton wasn't really fishing. He just got to hold the pole for a couple of minutes.
Ooh, the sun is a little too bright.
Crazy Carter building Lincoln Logs in the lobby of Big Cedar.
This is the tower that Carter and Connor built together.
We went up to the stables. Colton was so brave. He wanted to go right up to the horses to feed them. Kind of made me nervous.
This picture is also from the stables. Carter decided that he DID NOT want to be photographed. So I was chasing him around with the camera and he finally decided just to go sit on this rock with his back to me.
Of course, our most caring son - Connor - went to sit with him and make him feel better.

This really is the one thing about Carter that just blows my mind...Mr. "Star of K-West" who loves attention like few kids I know will spontaneously become Mr. anti-photography. Maybe Connor can explain this to us someday. He seems to understand!
What a FUN looking time!!! Your boys are just so stinking CUTE.
