An activity at church

This week our church hosted a fun event for the kids. It was kind of like story hour, but even better. Darrell Wiskur, an author and illustrator, came to show the kids how he created his book, Dinky Dinosaur. Our three oldest are probably a little too big for story hour, but I knew they would enjoy seeing how this author created and illustrates his books. It was a fun morning. Lots of dinosaur themed snacks, activities and the boys even got to try out some of the illustration techniques that Mr. Wiskur demonstrated.
