This week the O.D. picked Man Day as the theme of the day at K-West. (O.D. stands for Officer of the Day. Each O.D. has responsibilities throughout the day such as coming up with a theme, starting the meals, etc.) Well, the Rapp boys loved this idea and decided to do their own man day. Alexis and Jon Jon (the kid-sitters) were great sports...especially Alexis who had to go along with this theme. The boys did things like this: using no silverware at meals, winning points for doing man things (Hunter got 10 points for killing a spider with his bare hands), wearing no shirts and painting their bodies to look tough. (Ellen, are you having flashbacks to last summer?)
Here we go! Jon Jon rallying the troops at the man cave. (AKA the K-West teepee). The password to get into the man cave was "brains and guts." Gross, right? Each boy picked a name for the day. Hunter the Brave, Connor the Compassionate, Carter the Archer, Colton the Drummer.

haha! I think we logged about 5 miles of walking on Man Day last year! No joke. Remember when Hunter and Matt canoed all of Table Rock during nap time? Great day. Glad this one got a repeat!
Oh my WORD--I do love hearing Rapp Boy stories!!! What a fun idea, and fun memories! You are raising some pretty great boys!
