Fish Hatchery

We took a field trip to the Branson Fish Hatchery today with some great friends. With ten kids, you can imagine that there was lots of energy as they petted snakes, held turtles and learned about raising trout. Here are the boys right as we arrived at the Hatchery. Yes, Carter was there too but I was trying to talk him into wearing a jacket.

See the kids gathered around Diane? She was holding the bucket of fish food that the kids would grab by the handful and throw into the trout holding tanks.

There was a really nice lady who helped us today. She answered lots of questions and pulled out the critters so that the kids could learn!

I love this picture! There are several more, but we took all the kids down to the area in front of the Table Rock Dam. All 10 of the gates were open today so it was an amazing sight.

Then we took pictures of the gang by age! Here are the three big kids - Claire Cooper, Hayden Engram and Hunter.
