Movie Premiere/ K7/ For your Future!

Well, it has been a few days since my last post so you might be wondering...what have the Rapps been up to? August 3rd brings our last 24 of the summer, a stay at Big Cedar and internet access! Hooray, time to blog. On Saturday we took the boys to a premiere of the new Veggie Tales movie at our church. It was a great chance to get out of kamp on a rainy day, treat the boys to a fun event and see some Branson friends. The boys really did like the movie. Even to the point that Carter exclaimed, "That was the greatest Veggie Tales I have ever seen!" when the movie ended.

Other exciting news - today we got a phone call that there was an opening at K7, Term 12...for Connor to go to kamp! He jumped up and down with excitement, but then got a little worried when he realized that there were only showers - no bathtubs at K7. Enter Todd - who can always reassure Connor. Todd right away took the boys over to K7 just to check out the showers, teepees, bathrooms, etc. I think it is a GO! Connor will get to be a kamper at K7 starting August 6th.

One more funny story. Let me share with you the conversation that I had with the boys in the car yesterday.

Hunter/ Carter: "Mom, why don't we ever go to Chuck E. Cheese?"
Bronwyn: "Well, the pizza isn't very good and it costs a lot of money because you have to pay for all those games."
Carter: "I want to go to Chuck E. Cheese and take my piggy bank."
Bronwyn: "So you are going to spend all your money at Chuck E. Cheese?"
Carter: "Yep!"
Hunter: "Carter, that money is for your future...so you can buy Lego sets!"

So that is what we should be saving our money for! More Lego sets. Aha!

Chris and I love that story! Chris loved legos as a kid too and wants to build things with Hunter. Just imagine the possibilities that could be built with that team!
