Karnival at K2

My youngest sister Alexis is a Princess at K2 this summer. If you aren't familiar with kamp, that probably makes no sense. But at Kanakuk the kampers are divided into tribes and each year they elect a leader for their tribe. So for the girl kampers, they pick a princess for the Kiowa tribe and a princess for the Kickapoo tribe. Alexis is the Kiowa princess and one of her big responsibilities is to plan Karnival for her tribe. We were able to sneak over to K2 the night of the event to see how it all turned out. Alexis did a great job and she looked adorable. Way to go Aunt Alexis - we were so proud of you!
Here is a shot of Alexis leading her tribe in the dance! So fun to watch.

And check this out...Hunter in front of the banner that he helped draw. That's right folks, Alexis needed help designing the backdrops for all of her Karnival booths and asked Hunter to draw the airplane for the Flying Higher banner. All Alexis had to do was enlarge his drawing.

Here is Carter arm wrestling our friend Jon Jon at Karnival.

Finally my favorite picture from the night. Princess Alexis with the Rapp gang!
